Chase International Foundation donates $30K to Tahoe, northern Nevada nonprofit – Carson Now

Chase International Foundation awarded more than $30,000 through 2024 to 16 nonprofit agencies in Northern Nevada and California as part of their ‘Four Pillars of Giving’ grant program. The total includes $14,700 in donations recently raised during “Giving Tuesday,” a nonprofit event held the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving in more than and 70 countries.

“We are committed to building community wellness for those who need it most,” said Cindy Ranne, CEO. “Nowadays, people want to feel like they are making a positive difference for each other with a loving heart. Our “Four Pillars of Giving” grant program addresses the basic needs of people for housing, food, security and well-being.

The list of recipients for this quarter includes Douglas County Backpack Buddies, Lake Tahoe Shining Stars, Reno Rescue at the Center for Adaptive Riding, Northern Nevada HOPES, Courage Worldwide, Live Violence Free, and the Veterans Guest House.

Chase International Realtors Trevor Phillips and Paul Ellbogen sponsored Douglas County Backpack Buddies. The amount of $2,000 will help distribute food on Fridays, so that the children have enough food at the end of the week and are fed and prepared for the next week of school.

Sixteen young dancers from the Lake Tahoe Shining Stars program will benefit from the Foundation’s $3,900 grant to support the athletes’ tuition and registration to participate in Dance Excellence, a performance international dance in Southern California. Chase International’s Realtor Fawn Hayes sponsored this grant.

Reno Rescue’s grant to the Center for Adaptive Riding of $2,000 will support the organization’s Stable Moments program for 20 children and fund two Program Director certificates. This clinical program helps foster and adopt youth to increase their self-worth and emotional well-being and develop life skills for a difference. good with age. Chase International’s Reno, Nevada office partnered to support a $1,918 Grant for Northern Nevada HOPES. This nonprofit program with its prestigious facility provides affordable, high-quality medical, behavioral health, and support services for anyone affected by violence in domestic violence, sexual violence and child abuse.

A grant of $2,000 to support the new “Courage House” of the region of Courage Worldwide was supported by Realtor Georgia Chase whose desire is to help vulnerable children live better lives. This facility is expected to open in 2025 and will have a team of compassionate, trauma-trained staff to provide round-the-clock supervision, care and services to meet the complex needs of trafficking survivors.

Live Violence Free received $1,500 thanks to Giving Tuesday donors and Star Brooks, Realtor at Chase International. This grant will be used specifically to improve access to the organization’s building to ensure the safety of people seeking Live Violence Free for shelter, counseling, help in housing and legal support.

Realtor Trevor Phillips sponsored the Veterans Guest House in the amount of $1,500. Veterans and their families can continue to have a warm, inviting temporary home and access to essential medical care through this non-profit organization,
